Giant snake in Quickborn: Police are looking for witnesses for anaconda finds!

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, an impressive discovery was made in the Gronau stream in Quickborn: an approximately 3 meter long yellow anaconda! This exotic reptile causes excitement after it was certainly captured by the Quickborn volunteer fire brigade. Immediately afterwards, the snake came to the wildlife and species protection center in Klein Abteth-Sparrieshoop.

Particularly alarming: The yellow anaconda is usually native to South America. This suggests that someone has illegally exposed the animal in Quickborn. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the unexpected meeting with this impressive animal.
