Shock on the B192: 75-year-old causes serious accident!

On May 24, 2025, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the B192 at the Müritzklinik. A 75-year-old Opel driver got on the oncoming lane due to a sleep of seconds and collided with an oncoming VW Golf on the side. The older driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the two inmates of the Golf remained safely.

The two vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the collision and had to be towed. The Klink volunteer fire brigade moved up due to leakage. The B192 was closed on each side for about three and a half hours, while the cause of the accident was examined by a DEKRA employee. Criminal proceedings were initiated against the person who caused the accident due to the endangerment of road traffic, and his driver's license was confiscated.
