The night of Friday, May 6th, a serious sole accident occurred on the L 636 in Salzkotten-Niedertudorf. At 0:07 a.m., a 21-year-old Opel driver lost control of his vehicle in a light right-hand bend and raced from the street. His 20-year-old passenger was also in the car.

The two young men were able to make the emergency call independently, but were dependent on the help of the fire brigade in order to be freed from the accident. After a first medical treatment, they were brought with an ambulance in Paderborn. The exact background of the accident have so far been unclear.
