Shocking accident in Hamm: BMW driver fights for his life!

In the night of Sunday, June 1st, there was a dramatic traffic accident on Kamener Strasse: a 21-year-old BMW driver and a 34-year-old Skoda driver were injured when the young man lost control of his vehicle around 1.55 a.m. The BMW hurled Kleine Werlstraße between the roundabout and the confluence on the dam, turned around his own axis and collided head -on with the oncoming Skoda.

The fire brigade had to intervene quickly and transport both those involved in the accident in Hammer hospitals. While the Skoda driver was able to leave the hospital after outpatient treatment, the BMW driver remains inpatient under medical supervision. Any help came too late for both vehicles - they were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.
