Shocking traffic accident in Kalbach: two seriously injured after Crash!

Kalbach, Deutschland - On Wednesday afternoon (June 11th) a serious traffic accident occurred on the L 3206 between Mittelkalbach and Neuhof. At around 1 p.m. a Golf Plus, controlled by a 78-year-old woman, and a VW Polo, driven by a 57-year-old, came together head-on. The exact circumstances of the accident are still unclear.

The polo driver was caught in the impact in his vehicle and had to be released by the fire brigade. Both drivers suffered serious injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital. The property damage amounts to around 10,000 euros. During the accident recording and the subsequent cleanup, the country road was completely closed until around 2.30 p.m.
