Serious accident at Lehrte: child and driver injured life -threatening

In the afternoon of today, a serious traffic accident occurred on Kreisstraße 125 between Sievershausen and Schwüblingsen. At 4:38 p.m., the fire brigade of Sievershausen and Hämelerwald were alerted when a Mercedes GLC came off the road with a driver and a child for an unknown cause and crashed into a tree head -on. Despite the massive force of the impact, both inmates were not trapped, but suffered life -threatening injuries.

The fire brigades were quickly on site and gained access to the vehicle. In close cooperation with the emergency doctor and the emergency services, the injured were released in a patient -friendly manner and immediately transported to surrounding hospitals. In the meantime, the fire brigade secured fire protection and took care of the battery management. A total of 44 emergency services with six vehicles, two ambulances, an emergency doctor's vehicle, a rescue helicopter and the police were deployed. Further details on the inmates and the cause of the accident were not announced by the fire brigade.
