Serious accident in Oberwiehl: motorcyclists fight for his life!

On the evening of June 7, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident at the L 336 / Kampstrasse intersection in Oberwiehl around 7:20 p.m. A 39-year-old motorcyclist who was traveling from Wiehl Center collided with a 62-year-old driver who disregarded the motorcyclist's right of way. During the collision, the cyclist contracted life -threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital with an ambulance.

The driver and his 47-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. The total damage to the vehicles amounts to around 16,000 euros. Rescue services and the fire brigade were on site, and the L 336 was temporarily closed during the accident. However, traffic disruptions failed to materialize.
