Serious traffic accident in Diepholz: Driver fights for his life!

On Whit Monday evening, there was a serious traffic accident on Tierparkstrasse (L 349), which had dramatic consequences for a 42-year-old driver. The man who was traveling at excessive speed overtook another vehicle and lost control in a right -hand bend. He crashed into a tree head -on and was seriously injured.

The force of the impact was so strong that the driver was caught in his vehicle. The fire brigade has a lot of time to free it from the predicament. Finally, the seriously injured driver was flown to a hospital with a rescue helicopter where he fights for his life. The police are now investigating the exact causes of the fatal accident.
