Heavy rain flooded St. Tönis: fire brigade in constant use!

On Saturday evening there was a surprisingly violent heavy rain at 10:00 p.m. in Tönisvorst, which in particular affected the St. Tönis district. Just a few minutes later, at 10:15 p.m., the first calls alerted the volunteer fire brigade, which then occupied its equipment houses.

The situation escalated quickly and the management group was activated to coordinate the numerous emergency calls. With a high contingent of emergency services from Tönisvorst and the support of the fire brigade Willich was reacted immediately. The operations were prioritized and forwarded by the Kiersen control center to effectively master the situation.
