Missing residents found unscathed after a large rescue operation!

Freistatt, Deutschland - A 71-year-old resident from Freistatt, who has been missing since Thursday afternoon, was found safely in the evening. The elderly assistance center reported to the seniors around 1:15 p.m. after a first search in the home and its surroundings was unsuccessful. Since the man is demented and disoriented, the search was expanded.

The fire brigade and a drone group joined the search, and rescue dogs of the Technical Relief Agency (THW) were also used. The crucial hint came around 5:30 p.m.: A rescue dog discovered the missing person in a forest, hidden in a blackberry hedge. The 71-year-old was unharmed and could be returned directly to the Elderly Aid Center.
