Frontal collision on the B420: driver injured, road locked!

B420, Deutschland - In the afternoon of May 27, 2025, there was a dramatic frontal collision on the B420 between Wiesweiler and Offenbach Hundheim: A car collided with a van in oncoming traffic in the corner area! The 23-year-old driver of the passenger car suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for medical care. Fortunately, the 51-year-old van driver was unharmed.

The cause of the accident could have been a second sleep of the driver. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the crash and had to be towed - the property damage is estimated on total damage! As a result of the accident, the B420 was completely closed for about 70 minutes, while emergency helicopter, emergency services, road maintenance and fire brigade were on site to cope with the situation. A shocking incident that luckily went out!
