Dinslaken, Deutschland - On Monday afternoon, a fire broke out in a garage in downtown Dinslaken, which led to an immediate use of the fire brigade. The alarm did not rule out that there could still be people in the garage. The fire brigade started with full -time forces as well as the city center and the emergency services to evaluate the situation.

The emergency services found that several gas bottles were stored in the garage. These were brought outside during the extinguishing work to avoid an explosion. Fortunately, the suspicion regarding a possibly in the garage was not confirmed. With a C-pipe, the fire brigade deleted the fire, which was probably triggered by a technical defect. After a check with a thermal imaging camera and ventilation measures, the emergency services were able to quickly move back into the tool shed.
