Owner -taking in Eisenberg: Man abuses emergency call and gets off lightly!

A 44-year-old man from Eisenberg caused excitement on Monday morning when he alerted the police because of an alleged hostage-taking. In his emergency call, he claimed that his mother had become the victim of several crimes. Since the police were already familiar with the man from previous incidents, the allegations were quickly relativized.

Despite the alarming statement, officials in cooperation with the emergency services check his residential address. Fortunately, it turned out that his mother was doing well and there was no danger. The man was handed over to his mother's care. Due to this misuse of emergency calls, the 44-year-old is now being investigated for emergency abuse.
