In a shocking incident on the A485 motorway near Gießen, a ghost driver drove against the direction of travel at night. Fortunately, nobody was seriously injured. The motorway police noticed the false driver at 0:23 a.m. between Linden and the Gießener Südkreuz and immediately forwarded warnings to the subsequent traffic. Despite the immediate persecution by the police, including flashing lights and siren, the driver did not react at first and continued his journey to the Grünberger Straße junction, where he finally turned and drove away in the right direction. The approximately 25-30-year-old driver is described as a pale man with short, brown hair and a rounded face. The police are asking witnesses to report on 06033 / 7043-5010.

At the same time, the police Gießen are looking for an important witness to an accident in the Wellersburgring, in which a white small car runs a 52-year-old pedestrian and then fled.
