A dangerous dispute between a cyclist and a driver escalated in Freiburg on Wednesday, May 28, 2025! Around 1:00 p.m. there was an incident at the confluence of Wallstrasse into the Schwabentorring, in which the 50-year-old driver of a gray Fiat Ducato was beaten several times by an approximately 30-year-old cyclist. The violent attack ended with the driver going to the ground!

The injured driver was immediately brought to a Freiburg Clinic by an ambulance. No information is currently known about the severity of his injuries. The cyclist, who wore a striking rain jacket in yellow, green and blue and black rain pants and cut a helmet, fled towards Schwabentor after the incident. The Freiburg-Nord police are asking witnesses to report on 0761 882-4221 and describe their observations.
