On Sunday, May 25, 2025, a dispute at Puschkinplatz in Gera quickly slipped into violence! At 4:25 p.m., a 26-year-old man got into a heated change of words with three other men aged 29, 31 and 41. But the verbal battle took a dangerous turn: the attacking 26-year-old broke a glass bottle and threatened to hurt the others!
Fortunately, one of the men was able to ward off the attack with an umbrella - a truly heroic moment! The aggressor was arrested immediately and is now in police custody. The Gera police have started the investigation and urgently searches for other witnesses or damaged people.
