In a shocking act, valuable grave decorative utensils were stolen from May 29 to May 30, 2025 at the cemetery in Herschbach and in salt. The thieves made to create bronze, brass and copper figures that adorned the resting places.

The Westerburg police inspection has initiated the investigation and has already taken up corresponding criminal complaints. Witnesses and people who have information about the possible perpetrators are called to report immediately. The victims should also contact the police to receive support.
