On June 5, 2025 at 12:10 p.m., the federal police at the Polish border crossing Zittau-Sieniawka were able to raise a 33-year-old Polish driver. During a check on the B 178N, the officials discovered a not approved pepper spray that the man had with him.

The driver had to hand in the forbidden spray immediately and now faces a procedure for violating the weapons law. Such strict controls show the continued vigilance of the authorities at the border.
