Border control: Romanian due to burglary theft!

On Tuesday morning, May 27, 2025, the federal police at the Knauheide rest area on Autobahn 3 took a routine check that took place in the course of the border controls. There the officers came across a 36-year-old Romanian who came out of the Netherlands. What initially looked like ordinary control quickly turned out to be an explosive arrest: the traveler was sought by the public prosecutor's office in Saarbrücken due to the dawders of housing.

The man was arrested immediately and after the police measures were taken to make a prison decision to the district court of Kleve. A clear case of a criminal search: thanks to the more attentive border controls, a suspected burglar could be resolved!
