Last weekend, reinforced border controls took place in the border triangle in Poland and the Czech Republic, in which federal police officers arrest two criminals. On May 31, 2025, a 44-year-old Czech was checked on Friedensstraße in Zittau at around 8:25 a.m. This was searched for by the Coburg public prosecutor's office for driving without driving license.

Since he could not pay the requested fine of 4,286 euros, he was immediately admitted to a correctional facility for 60 days. The operation shows the determined procedure of the federal police against crime at the limits.
