Neuenburg am Rhein, Deutschland - A 35-year-old man was arrested by the federal police at the Neuchâtel border crossing on the Rhine when he tried to enter France with a fake ID. The control not only showed the forgery, but also that the Romanian had no driver's license and that the car he had was not insured.

When checking the fingerprints, the police met with a European arrest warrant of the French authorities on suspicion of fraud and counterfeiting offenses. The requested was temporarily arrested and brought to a correctional facility, where he is now waiting for the decision on his delivery. In addition, investigations into forgery of documents, driving without driving license and use of an uninsured vehicle were initiated.
