Schotten (OT Wingershausen)-Dramatic scenes on Wednesday evening: A 25-year-old tried to set fire to petrol charcoal grill. Not only his clothes ignited, but also that of the 24-year-old neighbor, who was in the immediate vicinity. An attentive neighbor noticed the fire and was able to save both men with a fire extinguisher at the last second.

The two men suffered serious fire injuries. The 25-year-old was immediately flown to a special clinic with a rescue helicopter while his 24-year-old neighbor was taken to the hospital. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident and urged the negligent use of liquid fire accelerators, especially for the barbecue season. Security is going on!
