in Billstedt, Hamburg, broke out a basement fire in a multi -party house in Steinbeker Hauptstraße this morning. The Hamburg fire brigade was alerted at 5:02 a.m. and immediately mobilized two fire trucks and an extensive emergency services. During the dramatic rescue campaign, the emergency services used aerial conductors and portable ladders to save the residents.

A total of ten people were examined by the rescue teams, but fortunately nobody was injured. While the fire brigade fought the fire in the basement with two jet pipes, reversal work and ventilation measures were carried out in parallel. After about three hours of intensive use, the fire brigade handed over the site to the police to clarify the cause of the fire. A total of up to 45 firefighters were on duty to cope with the situation.
