Great commitment in Düren: Fire brigade saves 7 people from a burning building!

In the early evening, the Düren fire brigade was called to an alarming fire in a disused building. Initially, emergency services noticed a strong smoke from several basement windows. Inside there were seven people who, thanks to the rapid access of the fire brigade, were able to flee to the upper floor in good time. There they were looked after by the emergency services via the aerial ladder in a smoke -free area.

The fire brigade Düren, supported by 13 vehicles and around 50 forces, was able to quickly locate and extinguish the fire in the basement. All those affected were examined by the emergency services and were luckily able to leave the site unharmed.
