Big damage: Brand in Erzhausen ensures evacuation!

on Saturday evening, May 24, 2025, a fire broke out in a residential building on Friedrich-Ebert-Straße in Erzhausen shortly after 9:25 p.m. According to initial investigations, a pot of oil in the kitchen ignited. The fire brigade was quickly alerted and already found the house evacuated.

Three family members had to be treated on site for flue gas poisoning. Particularly alarming: A toddler was instructed to further clarify a children's hospital. The fire damage is not yet estimated, but the house is uninhabitable after the incident. The affected family is temporarily accommodated by friends.
