Handbag robbery in Weilerswist: 81-year-olds are sacrificed on a sidewalk

In a shocking incident in Weilerswist, there was an 81-year-old woman on Tuesday, May 27th, a robbery. At 3:40 p.m., the senior citizen, who was traveling with her rollator on Kölner Strasse, was attacked by a stranger on a bike. The perpetrator tore his handbag out of his hand and fled towards Mauritiusgasse.

Two brave witnesses who observed the robbery ran after the bike thief, but could not catch up with it. Fortunately, they handed over their handbag to the 81-year-old, but nothing was stolen from. The robber is described as a male, about 30 to 40 years old and 175 cm tall, with a striking, scarred face and Mediterranean appearance. The criminal police have started the investigation and are now looking for information on this brazen attack.
