Frankfurt, Deutschland - Two suspects were caught on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Frankfurt am Main in a failed attempt to sell stolen property. The 33-year-old victim, whose cell phone was stolen on Sunday, discovered her mobile phone a day later in the city center and contacted the perpetrators. The 46-year-old suspect demanded 150 euros for the publication of the cell phone, which she then passed on to her 28-year-old accomplice, who asked for the same amount.

When the police came to the handover, the 28-year-old, who was illegally in Germany, resisted and injured two police officers. Both suspects were arrested and brought to the police headquarters. They should now be brought before a judge while the police are making further investigations.
