Hot air balloon emergency landing: Eight injuries if the adventure is unsuccessful!

A hot air balloon accident shook the quiet town of St. Katharinen on Friday evening (May 30, 2025)! During an unsuccessful landing in a field, the pilot suffered stubborn turbulence together with 16 passengers aged 30 to 45. The balloon touched the floor more violently than planned, which led to minor injuries to eight passengers. As a precaution, four of them had to be brought to surrounding hospitals.

The happiness was on the side of the passengers: no serious injuries and the balloon itself remained undamaged! But that does not mean that the incident remains without consequences - an investigation was initiated against the pilot for negligent bodily harm. How will it go on?
