On Monday evening, June 9, 2025, there was a dramatic incident in Breitnau: A 30-year-old hiker was attacked by the ignorant dogs of a 55-year-old walker. At around 6:50 p.m., two of the five dogs got off the hiker and tried to bite him in the thigh. The brave hiker could prevent worse things by saving himself onto a pile of dirt.
