Greiz, Deutschland - on May 25, 2025 at 5:15 p.m. there was an incident in Greiz that had fatal consequences for a 13-year-old girl and walking. As she ran a dirt road along the Marstall, she was suddenly bitten into her leg by an unhanged dog, a snout mixer. The dog belonged to a 62-year-old man who was also in the area at that time.

The girl suffered minor injuries. The police initiated criminal proceedings against the dog owner for negligent bodily harm. Fortunately, the dog, which was responsible for the incident, was properly vaccinated. The investigation runs to clarify further details.
