The police in the Minden-Lübbecke district achieved an alarming result on traffic controls on Friday and Saturday: more than 600 violations were recorded! A total of 291 advertisements and 611 warnings were pronounced. Shocking: During controls, three drivers were stopped with suspected alcohol or drug use and had to undergo blood samples. 55 drivers who used their cell phone while driving were particularly brazen - that is not possible!

On Saturday, three red light violations were recorded on the Ringstrasse in Minden, while two drivers were under the influence of narcotics and now also have to count on advertisements. At the same time, 1,350 vehicles were measured on the B 239 in Hüllhorst. The sobering result: 208 drivers receive a warning money and 137 must expect advertisements. The absolute speed of the weekend was a Mindener who was flashed at 75 km/h instead of the allowed 30 km/h - a fine of over 320 euros awaits him, a one -month driving ban and two points in Flensburg.
