Young robbers attack disabled seniors at Leverkusen station!

On Monday evening, May 26th, a shocking attack occurred at the Leverkusen-Rheindorf train station. At around 6:30 p.m., six male young people attacked a 61-year-old senior citizen with disabilities in a pedestrian underpass. The brutal tore the man to the ground and robbed him of a high amount of cash from his clothing. With their prey, the darkly dressed perpetrators fled over adjacent fields towards Langenfeld.

The victim, who had previously driven from Cologne 6 Central Central Station to Rheindorf, remained unharmed and reported the police officer on site of the incident. An unknown witness who was traveling in a white Volvo SUV recorded the robber's persecution. The Cologne police urgently asks for information from witnesses and in particular calls on the Volvo driver to report to poststelle.koeln@Polizei.nrw.de on 0221 229-0 or by email.
