On Saturday, June 14, 2025, the state disaster protection day will take place on the market square in Heide from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The focus is on the topic of “water”: Visitors receive practical insights into flood protection, flow rescue, oil defense and emergency supply. At various stations, the Technical Relief Agency (THW) presents its innovative technology, including a modular assembly structure and special devices for ÖSTAMTION.

At the central information stand in Friedrichstrasse, emergency services are available to provide information about volunteer participation options. In addition, it is informed about the various specialist groups and the offer of the federal voluntary service of the THW.
