Child in Herten: Police are looking for witnesses and drivers!

A two -year -old child from Herten was injured by a driver on Monday afternoon at the intersection Schützenstraße/Nimrodstraße. The person who caused the accident: continued in after the incident and the police initiated the search. Witnesses, especially two women who have observed the accident, are urgently asked to report.

After the first investigations, the driver we were looking for turned the driver from Nimrodstrasse to the left into Schützenstrasse at around 4:10 p.m. The child, accompanied by his mother, crossed the street, especially with a green pedestrian light. The child was touched by the car and fell, but fortunately only suffered minor injuries. The vehicle sought is said to have been a black car that continued towards Ewaldstrasse.
