Unknown perpetrators struck in Merkers in the night from Monday to Tuesday and stolen four runners - one male and three females - and about 18 running eggs from a stable. The value of the stolen animals and eggs is estimated at around 250 euros. The incident occurred between May 19, 2025, 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday morning, and the police asks for help: relevant information on the theft or whereabouts of the ducks are to be sent to the Bad Salzung police inspection on 03695 551-0, stating the file number 0128523/2025.
