A 57-year-old woman from the region between Stralsund and Greifswald has become the victim of an unscrupulous online love fraudster and has lost over 50,000 euros! The tragic story began in May 2023 when she came across the tempting profile of an alleged French soldier on a dating portal. After months of exchange of messages, pictures and videos, the fraudster persuaded the lady to transfer money by pretending to be injured abroad and not being able to access his accounts due to a hacker attack.
