A road user reported an unusual support wheel on the left lane, and while the police were on the way, a truck ran over this obstacle. A 53-year-old Moldova driver tore the left diesel tank on the collision with his Iveco train machine, which resulted in a violent diesel track of an incredible 300 meters.

The Petersberg volunteer fire brigade provisionally increased the leak in the tank. At the same time, the right lane over the entire length of the contamination had to be blocked in order to carry out the cleaning work. After intensive operational measures, the highway could be released again around 9:45 p.m. The total damage is estimated at around 15,000 euros. In addition to the fire brigade, the Fulda motorway maintenance department and the lower water authority were also in use.
