Truck accident at Hinzerath: Full closure of the L159 for three hours!

Hinzerath, Deutschland - On June 4, 2025, around 3:20 p.m. on the L159, a spectacular traffic accident occurred shortly before Hinzerath. A truck with a trailer got off the road during a turning maneuver and landed in the ditch on half side. The missed maneuver blocked the L159 for about three hours in both directions.

The rescue of the truck was carried out by a specialized company that managed to make the team ready to drive again. The Morbach police inspection and the Bernkastel-Kues road maintenance department were on site to secure the situation and redirect traffic.
