In the night of Sunday, June 8, 2025, Deichstraße/Uhlandstrasse became the scene of a violent dispute between several people. The conflict escalated around 1:32 a.m. and a man was injured with a machete. Medical measures initiated immediately saved his life. The alleged perpetrator was quickly caught by the police and taken into account.

The Frankenthal public prosecutor has already filed a criminal complaint against him for dangerous bodily harm. The Ludwigshafen 2 police inspection is now urgently looking for other witnesses who have information about the incidents or other participants.
