Man caught in a fresh act: police chase sprinter burglars!

In a dramatic night chase in Ludwigshafen, attentive residents have observed how a man on Leuschnerstrasse tried to break a sprinter. The incident occurred in the night from Wednesday to Thursday at around 2:30 a.m., and when the vehicle's alarm sounded, the suspect fled in a silver Fiat Punto. A little later, police officers were able to look at and follow the escape car near Karl-Müller-Straße.

The perpetrator stopped the car, left it behind and escaped into a nearby park towards Carl-Bosch-Straße, where the police lost visibility. Despite a large -scale use with several stripes and a police dog, the man remained undetected. The suspect is described as 25 to 35 years old and in sporting clothing. Fiat Punto, which was left behind, was secured by the police.
