Massive controls on the A6: overloaded vans in sight!

On Thursday, the Weinsberg traffic police, together with the police headquarters and the Federal Office of Logistics, carried out comprehensive control on the Hohenlohe North tank and rest area on the A6 near Neuenstein. The focus was on vans, and the results were alarming: eight vehicles were overloaded, the hardest weighed the hardest 4950 kg - more than 30% above the permitted total weight of 3500 kg!

In addition, the officials found 14 violations of driving law regulations, while in six cases the load securing was objected to. The control ended prematurely for seven vehicles: their onward journey was prohibited. The campaign underlines the importance of traffic safety and the fight against overloading on the streets.
