Moor competitions in Kolshorn: Fire brigade performance with marriage proposal!

On Saturday, May 24th, 2025, the fire brigade, which was eagerly awaited, took place. Organized by the Kolshorn local fire brigade, eight brave fire brigade groups competed against each other in gripping competitions. The focus of the competition was a challenging skill exercise: boxes had to be stacked with handicap. In addition, a traditional performance comparison was carried out according to Heimberg-Fuchs, in which a fire-fighting attack with water was simulated from an open water.

The spectators experienced a captivating competition in bright sunshine! The host fire brigade Kolshorn cheered for their outstanding victory, followed by the Sievershausen fire brigade in second place and the fire brigade, which took third place. An exciting event that celebrated the community and team spirit of the fire brigade comrades!
