A dramatic accident on Sunday evening: A 16-year-old moped driver lost control on the route from Kaiseroda towards Hämbach. As he drove into a left-hand bend, he turned off the road to the right, fell and hurled against the guardrail with his 15-year-old passenger.

Both young people suffered serious injuries and had to be taken to the hospital immediately. The route remained completely closed for about an hour, while the rescue workers worked on the site. The investigation into the exact cause of the accident.
