On Thursday afternoon, June 12, a serious traffic accident occurred on the L3 in Viersen around 3:50 p.m. A 31-year-old pike driver who was traveling towards Rickelrath collided with a 54-year-old driver from Wassenberg, who wanted to turn left from the “Hehler” street. The motorcyclist suffered life -threatening injuries and was immediately flown to a special clinic with a rescue helicopter.

The relatives of the accident have already been informed. To clarify the accident, a specialized team was consulted for the accident recording from Essen, while the Viersen police commissioner took over the further investigation.
