Motorcycle accident in Klein-Krotzenburg: toddler injured, driver fleeting!
A dramatic incident occurred on Sunday afternoon in Klein-Krotzenburg: A two-year-old boy was injured with a scooter in a collision. The 34-year-old driver of the scooter had previously tried to avoid police control after his insurance license plate had expired. Ignoring the stops of the officials, the driver raced through a closed area of the 850th anniversary of the community and finally collapsed with the little boy in Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße.
The boy suffered painful hematoma and bumps on the head and had to be taken to the hospital. The driver of the scooter, who did not have a valid driver's license and was obviously under the influence of alcohol and drugs, was recorded by festival visitors. He was brought to the police station, where a blood sample was ordered. His scooter was secured. Several children who had experienced the accident received psychological care as a precaution. The police started investigating the driver.
