New chief of police in Heilsbronn: Wolfgang Schmailzl takes responsibility!

Wolfgang Schmailzl has been the new head of the Heilsbronn police inspection since May 1, 2025 and takes over the position of Stefan Lang, who worked on the interim. Schmailzl succeeds Roland Schiefer, who was retired in March, who steered the fortunes of the inspection for over six years. Lang now remains active as deputy head of office in Heilsbronn.

Although Schmailzl has not been promoted, he brings valuable experience from his time with the traffic police in Feucht. The 50-year-old family man is convinced that his versatile experience from different missions will help him successfully support the police. Police President Adolf Blöchl is certain that Schmailzl has grown the challenge and wishes him every success in his new role.
