Nine -year -old cyclist injured: Parents have to explain traffic rules!

A 9-year-old boy from Soest was slightly injured in a traffic accident! The incident occurred on Monday at 12:40 p.m. on Oestinghauser Straße when the boy drove in the wrong direction on the sidewalk. A 59-year-old driver from Lippetal wanted to turn from a parking space to the street and captured the cyclist.

The police have started the investigation and is now clarifying the question of guilt. They also use this incident to remind all parents how important it is to convey the traffic rules correctly to children. A clear appeal: on sidewalks and cycle paths can only be driven in the permitted direction!
