Oil track on L214: Motorists, please help! Traffic at risk!

In the early morning of June 7, 2025, the Bad Kreuznach police were alerted when attentive road users discovered a dangerous oil track on the L214. The approximately 200 meter long contamination extended over both lanes between the K33 and the Stromberger Neuhütte. First inspections show that a considerable amount of oil from a motor vehicle has probably leaked here.

Fortunately, the fire brigade prevented the oil from getting into a flowing water. The road maintenance department immediately commissioned a specialist company to clean the street. Information about a possible endangerment of other road users from the oil track is currently not known. Witnesses who can provide information about the polluter of the oil track are called up to contact the police in Bad Kreuznach.
