Pedelec thieves caught in a fresh act-police quickly on site thanks to witnesses!

Eschstraße, 49661 Cloppenburg, Deutschland - Two pedelec thieves were caught in Cloppenburg in a fresh act on Sunday evening! At around 7 p.m., a witness in Eschstrasse became aware when he saw the men walking around on a pedelec with a hand flex. After his speech, the perpetrators fled with a stolen bike. But that was not all: Around 10:30 p.m., another witness at a bicycle stand at a swimming pool watched several people with a flex and loaded a pedelec in a van.

The police were quickly on hand and provided five men aged 27 to 49 from Cloppenburg and Werlte. In their van, the officers found three obviously stolen pedelecs, including a green KTM pedelec, a white giant and Müller as well as a black lime. The thief tool and the van were also ensured, while the suspects were released after the interrogation. A big thank you to the attentive witnesses for their quick action!
