Pepper spray stop in Rheydt: Two men injured!

On Saturday evening, May 24th, several people were victims of an attack with pepper spray in Mönchengladbach. The first incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. on a bus on Dahlener Strasse, where unknown persons sprayed an irritable gas. Just a short time later, around 8:45 p.m., the police were called to Heinrich-Sturm-Straße. There two men, 49 and 41 years old, reported that a blond attacker sprayed pepper spray in the face, while a group of 15 to 20 young people passed on them.

The injured had to be taken to the hospital for treatment while the perpetrators fled towards Vitusbad. The police asks witnesses who have information about the attackers to report on 02161 290.
